A small project for creating an (hopefully) automated wing for search & rescue or disaster/emergency response.


The wing should be able to

  • Have a 10 km minimum radius of action from the point of launch
  • Capture and transmit imagery in visible and IR spectrum
  • Automatically navigate from the point of launch to the designated point of interest
  • Automatically take off
  • Automatically land


The software components will include navigation software, embedded software, route planning software, etc.
